For the DROD RPG element, see Tunnel (RPG).

Tunnels allow the player to move quickly from one area of the room to another. Tunnels were introduced in Journey to Rooted Hold.

Behavior Edit

When the player steps in the direction the tunnel is facing while standing on top of it, he will be taken to the closest tunnel in that direction in the same column or row, possibly even wrapping around the room edges. Monsters won't step on tunnels unless the player in standing on top of it, in which case they will kill the player.

Interactions Edit

See the interactions page for a list of all interactions for this element.
  • Even though all player roles can walk over the tunnels, only Beethro, Gunthro, Decoy, Soldier, and Stalwart player roles can use it without first stepping on the Power token.
  • Tunnels take you to the destination tunnel no matter which direction it is facing.
