Clones are characters that can be controlled by the player. Clones can either be preplaced in the room by the architect, placed by player upon drinking the clone potion or summoned by stepping on a squad horn.

The player can switch control to a different clone by using the (default) Tab key, or by simply clicking on them.

Inactive clones don't do anything unless player switches control to them, in which case the character that the player was previously controlling becomes an inactive clone. If a clone is killed, even while inactive, it will count as the player dying.
