Bridge 9x7

Element ID 79, 80 (horizontal), 81 (vertical)
Layer Room pieces
First appears DROD 3.0
Is brain visible No
For the DROD RPG element, see Bridge (RPG).

Just like in the real world, bridges span pits and water to connect pieces of land together.

Behavior Edit

Bridges must be anchored to a wall, floor, trapdoor, or similar object to remain in place. If all its anchor points are removed, the bridge falls down into the depths, taking everything it supported with it.

Anchored bridge acts identically to a floor.

Trapdoors are the most common anchor for bridges that can be dropped. However, builders can remove any type of anchor and thus drop a bridge in any location.

Interactions Edit

See the interactions page for a list of all interactions for this element.
  • If a bridge carrying briar or a waterskipper collapses into water, the waterskipper survives and the briar is unaffected. Similarly, if a bridge carrying a wraithwing or fegundo collapses, these creatures will remain aloft.
  • A bridge with briar that collapses into pit will destroy the briar.
